Austin McLaughlin joined Sterling Foundation Management in 2011 and works directly with Family Office Concierge Services clients, providing financial services with a particular emphasis on alternative investment classes. As a Director, he has experience across various asset classes and industries, working closely with company CFOs to track and analyze results, and with legal teams on transaction closures and tax documentation. He identifies and evaluates new investments while assisting with company valuations and asset and equity sales.
Austin oversees substantial residential and commercial real estate portfolios, manages acquisitions and raw land development, and coordinates with municipalities on projects as part of Sterling’s alternative assets portfolio.
He is a board member of the Loudoun Volunteer Financial Council, providing free financial literacy programs to disadvantaged students—a personal passion he describes as particularly meaningful.
