Mark Houser joined Sterling Foundation Management following several years with nonprofit public policy organizations, where he witnessed philanthropy’s transformative potential. He now serves as a philanthropic advisor, assisting donors, families, and foundations in optimizing their charitable contributions.
Previously, Mark directed the student programs department at the Center for Growth and Opportunity (CGO), a policy research center at Utah State University. He oversaw policy research fellowships for approximately 50 undergraduate and graduate students from the Huntsman School of Business each semester.
Prior to CGO, Mark worked at the Cato Institute as a researcher and subsequently managed their student programs, including the prestigious internship program.
